Who you are reaching

The administration of Harmony Junior School is the School Administrator, the Principal, and any other two members appointed by the shareholder. The building they work from is the turquoise administration block at the entrance, with the glass doors and the step that says welcome. Fees are paid at the cashier in that building. Application forms are handled there. A question about a bus, a uniform, a meal, or a place in the choir ends at the same office if it needs an answer in writing.

The school is a private pre and junior school, established in 2021, at 31949, Mabvazuva, Ruwa, Harare. The motto is Pride in Excellence. The mission is grooming future Kings and Queens in a more excellent way. Those sentences are on the admissions page with the form. This page is only about how to reach the people who can act on them.

What to put in the message

A useful message names the child, the class or the age, and the question. The office can then answer without a second round of emails. Use a subject line that says which desk you need:

• Admissions — you want the form, a visit, or to know whether your child meets the kindergarten school-age criteria.
• Fees structure — you want the current amounts. They are not printed on the website. Ask, then pay before the term, at the cashier or by transfer with proof.
• Proof of payment — you have already transferred. Attach the proof and put the child’s name in the reference and in the email. Send it to [email protected].
• Transport — you want a place on the general route, or you need to change a stop. Name the stop: Damofalls and Zimre Park, Winsor Park, Ruwa Shopping Centre, Mutangadura, or Mabvazuva Residence Complex.
• Meals — an allergy or a food the child must not be given. Write it before the term, not on the morning of Pizza Day.
• Uniform — which Friday rule applies to your child, or a lost named item.
• Choir, Africa Day, or the next afternoon that is not an ordinary 3:30.

Include a phone number that is answered between 7:00 and 3:30. The school day is when the office can still change the plan. A message read at dusk cannot pull a child off a bus that has already left.

The three emails

The school has published more than one address, and families already use all of them. [email protected] is the address on the school domain. [email protected] is the address the fees page and the image disclaimer name for proof of payment and for requests to use photographs. [email protected] is also published on the contact details. If you are unsure, send the fees and payment mail to [email protected], and send admissions and general mail to [email protected]. If a matter is urgent, phone. Do not wait to see which inbox was the right one.

Coming to the school

Come during the open day: after the gates at 7:00, and before the last bell at 3:30. Ask for the administration office rather than for a teacher who is in class after 8:00. The first bell is the start of lessons. A conversation at the classroom door after that bell takes the teacher away from a class of children the school holds at a ratio of 1:20.

If you are using the bus route to understand the area, Mabvazuva Residence Complex is the last morning stop, between 7:30 and 7:50. The school itself is in Mabvazuva. The route page is for learners. Visitors come to the administration entrance, not to a bus stop.

The school portal, for families who already have access to it, is at frame.pindah.org. It is separate from this website. This website is the public account of the school. The portal is the working door for those who have been given it.

All photographs on this website belong to Harmony Junior School. They may not be copied, for any purpose, without written consent from the administration. The address for that request, stated in the disclaimer, is [email protected]. A parent may not hand a classroom photograph to another organisation because their child is in it. The other children are in it too.
